Everyone associated with our projects/works must understand his or her responsibilities concerning health and safety. With the responsibilities defined, project management, supervision, subcontractors and craft workers will be held accountable for their health and safety performance. We are committed to the international HSE standards “e.g OSHA 29 CFR 1926.28” which require that a PPE assessment be completed prior to commencement of any work activity. All our employees, subcontractors, vendors, and third-party individuals will at a minimum wear the necessary personal protective equipment PPE. Risk assessment and lifting plans are a MUST in all our works to avoid any accidents and losses. No work will be performed on any energized electrical circuit, bus bars, equipment, or panels unless an approved written work plan is developed in accordance with Chapter 1 of NFPA 70E and submitted to the Black-Oil Services Construction Superintendent for review prior to performance of work (see Appendix 5 Energized Work Permit). As the General Contractor, Black-Oil Services Construction is obligated to ensure all electrical subcontractors follow the NFPA 70E standards regulating electrical safety. Temporary lighting will be placed such that adequate lighting is provided at all times during active construction. Finally, for Safety performance Black-Oil Services Limited safety has designed several steps to confirm the safety process going on in a good manner, to get a result zero fatalities and zero accidents.
